About Me
Hello, I'm Sarah
I’m a qualified counsellor with a genuine passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges in a way that feels safe, supportive and empowering. I understand that choosing to begin therapy can feel like a big step, and my aim is to make that first step feel as comfortable as possible.
My approach is warm, down-to-earth and collaborative. I believe that meaningful change happens when you feel truly heard and understood. In our sessions, you won’t be judged or rushed. Instead, we’ll work at your pace, exploring whatever feels most important to you.
Over the years, I’ve supported individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, loss, life transitions and challenges with self-esteem. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, tailoring our work to suit your unique experiences and goals. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all — it’s about finding what works for you.
I trained in integrative counselling, which means I combine different evidence-based techniques to offer flexible, personalised support. I am committed to ongoing professional development and regular supervision to ensure I provide safe, ethical and effective care.
Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in roles supporting mental wellbeing within community settings. Those experiences reinforced my belief that everyone deserves a space where they can speak openly and feel understood.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply in need of someone impartial to talk to, I’m here to walk alongside you as you find your way forward.
